Our Motivation

• Paradoxically, people are feeling lonely more than ever in this virtually connected world. Reportedly, Gen-Z and Millennials are suffering the most compared to other generations.

• We have too many underutilised resources. For example, an average UK household has 124 unused books just sitting on their shelves. Reusing a books is twice more energy efficient than recycling a book!

We have noticed that seemingly irrelevant two major problems the world is facing at the moment could actually give birth to a single amazing solution "Shelf": Building genuine relationships through sharing of underutilized items.
