Our categories are carefully selected to bring forth and discover the common features and interests among people to build authentic friendships

Shelf coins are there to make sure people are not just borrowing but also sharing. The more you share, the more you can earn coins and borrow items

When you install Shelf, you are automatically rewarded with 5 Shelf coins. You also earn 3 Shelf coins every time you share an item with someone else

Yes, you can only keep 6 borrowed items at a time even if you have enough coins. If you want to borrow another one, you have to return at least one item.

We believe that people are inherently good and will make a proper use of this trust based app. And yet, there might still be few people who try to take advantage of people's trust. We think that this number is not high, but still we take some precautions:

• Sign up with a phone number: It is not likely that many people have multiple phone numbers

• Rating: You are rated by other Shelf users according to how you use the app. If you receive less than 3-stars five times, you will be banned from using Shelf

Shelf will be available in November in Manchester. Our next step before expanding to all over UK is London. In the near future, Shelf will be available in major European cities as well.
